Take Action – Do it now

Stagnant water doesn’t’ smell nice, look nice and quite frankly isn’t a place I would like to be. But that is the opposite to action – stagnation! That is what awaits us if we do not take action - are you scared yet?

Whatever the task at hand or the dream at bay we will never achieve or accomplish anything if we don’t act. Many things can prevent us from taking action, many reasons and many excuses but taking some simple advice can get us swiftly to our chosen destination…..

These Lessons from the art of juggling thought to me by a motivational speaker and coach Bryan Dunlop which can be applied to any task Juggler

1.       Simply take action – go for it take the first step (throw the balls)

2.       Focus on the Catch the Throw will look after itself – focus on the goal

3.       Take baby steps – Start with 2 balls and master that act

4.       Factor in early success – Once you have mastered two balls you will feel more confident

5.       Model Excellence – Watch and Learn from someone who can juggle

6.       Look for Feedback – Juggle in front of someone and they will give you feedback.

Apply these lessons to the next task you have to complete (without the balls) and watch your goals come closer to you. Robin Sharma advocates small daily changes to get to your goal, A 1% change daily will help you get to where you want to be quicker than you can imagine. The trick is to Just Do It, go on and take the first step……
